Description: The Department of Energy is seeking proposals from Black-owned SMEs for the supply and ongoing maintenance of solar-powered streetlights in rural communities across the Limpopo province. This project aims to enhance lighting in underserved areas, improving safety and quality of life for residents. Successful bidders will supply eco-friendly solar streetlights, install them across designated locations, and ensure their maintenance for a period of five years. Preference will be given to companies that demonstrate adherence to B-BBEE Level 1-2 compliance, reflecting our commitment to economic empowerment.
