Description: The Department of Energy invites Black-owned SMEs to submit bids for the supply and installation of solar panels at 15 community centers across KwaZulu-Natal. This initiative aims to promote sustainable energy solutions and empower local entrepreneurs, in support of B-BBEE Level 1-2 participation. The successful bidder will be responsible for procuring materials, conducting site assessments, installing solar panels, and ensuring proper system integration. The project comprises a timeline of 6 months, where initial training and community engagement workshops will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for SMEs to showcase their innovation and contribute to energy sustainability in underserved regions.
